The Basics of nutrition

Multiple people in India today take their personal health for granted because of the many obligations of family and work. Understanding the basics of nutrition and the value of a balanced diet is crucial. Future consequences will result from today's poor food/diet choices.

What you are eating is actually for tomorrow rather than "now." Every bite you eat either helps the sickness or feeds it.

A healthy, sustainable diet must be followed in order to develop appropriate eating habits and lose weight will be one of the results.

Better living through lifestyle changes:

1) You must include 1 portion of carbohydrates, 1 portion of protein, and 1 portion of vegetables in your lunch every day to improve your quality of life.

2) Every meal, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, must include 1 serving of protein.

3) Include two midday meals each day. Between your breakfast and lunch, and between lunch and dinner, respectively.

4) Colorful, in-season, traditional, balanced, easily accessible locally, less processed, climate-appropriate, and freshly cooked foods should be on your plate.

5) Ensure that your diet includes seasonal fruits and vegetables. They are an excellent source of micronutrients and support immune building.

6) Your last meal and bedtime must be separated by at least two to three hours.

7) You should obtain 6 to 8 hours of restful, healthy sleep.

8) Spend at least 10 to 15 minutes a day in meditation.

9) Mindfully eat. Be mindful of your surroundings while eating and use all of your senses.

10) Do not neglect to include at least a couple of fruits in your daily regimen.

11) You must engage in physical activity for at least an hour every other day OR for at least 30 minutes each day.

12) Plan your meals one week in advance. Never do we design to fail. This will guarantee that a nutritious lunch is consumed.

13) Maintain adequate hydration. Throughout the day, consume 3 to 4 litters of water minimum.

14) Ten minutes should pass between your lunch and tea. This will guarantee that the caffeine in tea and coffee won't prevent you from absorbing nutrients.

15) Choose freshly prepared food from the kitchen rather than canned or processed foods.

16) Take part in a pastime or activity. Your stress levels will be better controlled as a result.

To live a healthy, sustainable lifestyle, we must take care of our food, sleep, stress, water, and physical activity.
